TWO 'incredible' challenges have been revealed to help a Dorset charity mark its 30th anniversary.

Weldmar Hospicecare is celebrating its 30th year of helping people with life-limiting illenesses in 2024.

The trekking challenges will be located overseas, the first of which will take place in November 2024 on the island of Madagascar, just off the coast of mainland Africa.

The second will be held in March 2025 to Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail in Peru, South America.

The Dorset charity has been taking supporters on overseas challenges across the world since 2013.

Clare Ash, part of Weldmar’s fundraising team, said: “I have participated in a variety of treks for Weldmar as both a supporter and a leader and the experiences have been amazing.

“Our team will support you on every step of your fundraising and training journey, offering training walks, fundraising tips and resources, a support network including previous participants, and advice.

"I would definitely recommend signing up, you won’t regret it."

The charity will be holding an information event where you can find out more about both the treks from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, March 25 at Trimar House in Cromwell Road, Weymouth.
