A fundraising group held a very successful fundraising curry lunch, raising almost £4,000 for charity.
The Bridport Cancer Research group held the curry lunch at Martins Restaurant at Highlands End Caravan Park.
The group of seven committee members and four helpers fed 119 people who attended the lunch and raised a grand total of £3,785.68 for Cancer Research.
The lunch was supported by several local businesses including; Balsons, Rawles, Morrisons, Hangers Dairy, Brit Valley and A J Wakely.
The venue was given to the group for free by Highlands End Caravan Park.
A spokesperson said: “We are very proud of our efforts and would like to thank the local community who helped us with the event and all our supporters.”
