A MYSTERY Dorset resident has won £10,000 a month for a year after winning a National Lottery draw.

The woman, known only as Mrs.P, matched five main numbers in the Set For Life draw on Monday, December 19.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “What amazing news for Mrs. P who can now look forward to receiving £10,000 every month for a whole year.”

Mrs. P, who played a Lucky Dip via the National Lottery app, has become one of over eight million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games.

Interactive winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or release some details through partial publicity.

Set For Life is a draw-based game from The National Lottery where players pick five main numbers from 1 to 47, and one ‘Life Ball’ from 1 to 10, for the chance to win fixed prizes.

Top prize is £10,000 a month for 30 years, second prize is £10,000 a month for one year with £5 for matching just two main numbers.

Thanks to National Lottery players, more than £30M is generated each week for National Lottery-funded projects.

This money helps support everything from the local charity making a difference where you live through to helping our nations' athletes win medals at last summer’s Commonwealth Games.

To date, over £47bn has been raised for National Lottery Good Causes, with more than 670,000 individual grants awarded.
