THERE are reports of an impassable road near Dorchester and Winterbourne Abbas due to flooding.
First reported at 4:17 pm according to the AA's interactive travel map, the road is flooded between the turn-off from the A37 and Muckleford Bridge.
A statement on the Dorset Council's travel map said: "Road impassable due to flooding from A37 Dorchester Road (Muckleford) to Muckleford Bridge (Winterbourne Abbas)."
Drivers are advised to approach the area with caution and allow extra time for their journey.
There is a road sign at the beginning of the road warning drivers that the route is 'liable to flooding'.
The incidents follow heavy rainfall across Dorset in recent days.

On Sunday, the Environment Agency issued two red flood warnings for parts of the county due to rising water levels.
