One person has been taken to hospital after a crash that closed a main route between Dorchester and Yeovil for several hours.
The A37 was closed at Long Ash Lane from 6.40am after a two-car crash.
Police, ambulance and fire crews all attended the incident with one person trapped in the car due to their injuries.
Crews cut the roof off of one of the vehicles and gave casualty care until the arrival of the ambulance service.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 06:41 on Wednesday 16 November to an incident in Dorchester. We sent two double-crewed land ambulances to the scene. We conveyed one patient by land to Dorset County Hospital.”
