Three more strike dates are set to impact Great Western Railway services from Weymouth to Bristol this month.

Aslef, the train drivers’ union, has announced they’ll walk-out on Saturday, November 26 as part of a continued dispute over pay and terms and conditions.

In a separate, local, dispute with Network Rail, RMT members at the Thames Valley Signal Centre (TVSC) have announced their intention to take industrial action on Saturday 19 and Monday 21 November and this will also impact GWR services.

On these days train services will be disrupted on many parts of the GWR network. Trains on the days following the industrial action are also expected to be disrupted.

A reduced service will operate between 07:30 and 18:30 on most parts of the GWR network, and the last trains will be earlier than usual.

To help customers, GWR is allowing people with tickets for travel on the routes affected over the strike period to be used on alternative days:

  • Tickets for travel on Saturday 19 November are valid for travel on 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 November
  • Tickets for travel on Sunday 20 November are valid for travel on 20, 21, 22 and 23 November
  • Tickets for travel on Monday 21 November are valid for travel on 20, 21, 22 and 23 November
