Police searching for a missing man in West Dorset say he has been found.
Simon Cooper, aged 49, was reported as missing having left an address in the Askerswell area on foot at around 10.30am today.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We are pleased to say he has been located.
"We would like to thank colleagues at Dorset Search and Rescue (DorSAR) for assisting in the search, and to those members of the public who contacted us following our appeal."
