FIREFIGHTERS raced to a school following reports of alarms sounding.
Crews rushed to The Sir John Colfox Academy in Bridport at 4.30am for alarms that were sounding.
On arrival, firefighters found that a heat alarm had been triggered by a kiln inside the building.
A spokesman for Bridport Fire Station said: "One pump mobilised to Colfox school for alarms actuating.
"Crews were met by a key holder and upon investigation found a kiln that had been left on over night which triggered the heat alarm within the room."
