Dorset Council has issued a timely reminder to "check your bus times" before the return to school.
Bus routes are operated to 71 schools in the Dorset Council area with timetables often changing each year.
The council website features a handy tool whereby you can select your school and it will show you the timetable as well as a visualisation of the route.
You can also find your route number on your transport offer letter, or on your school bus pass if you travel on a vehicle with 16 or more seats.
A spokesperson for Dorset Council said: "School bus routes and timetables change every year – don’t forget to check the time and location of your child’s pick up and drop off points."
Most schools in Dorset return to teaching in the first week of September.
