A farm is opening their doors for a family beekeeping experience not to be forgotten.
The event takes place at Purcombe Farm, Bridport, DT6 6RL on Tuesday August 23 at 1.30pm – 4.30pm.
A spokesperson for the event said: “Our family beekeeping experience is a true delight. We meet at the beautiful sunflower farm just outside of Bridport.
“We will explain how the bees live before we open the hives and meet the bees! Safety suits are provided. After the experience we will provide a delicious cream tea.”
This experience is suitable for ages 5 and upwards. There will be a children’s craft table available too. Places are limited to 10 adults and 8 children, so get in touch to check availability.
Prices are £70 per adult and £50 per child, we offer a £20 discount on a family of 4 ticket.
