Motorists are being urged to "avoid the area" following a crash on a road just north of Dorchester.
Old Sherborne Road is closed, near Charlton Down, following the incident with emergency services in attendance.
Dorchester Fire Station say the road is "likely to be closed for a couple of hours".
A spokesperson for the Fire Station said: "There is a road closure in place on the Old Sherborne Road north of Charlton Down is currently closed due to an RTC.
"It’s likely to be closed for a couple of hours.
"Please avoid the area and find an alternative route"
