A VILLAGE fete will be held in Chideock near Bridport next weekend.
The Chideock Village Fete will be held at Clapps Mead Playing Field on Mill Lane on August 20 from 2pm to 5pm.
There will be a bumper raffle, ice cream, soft drinks, burgers, hotdogs, cakes, crafts, bottle tombola, sweet tombola, bric-brac, sewing table, ceramics and succulents, arts and crafts, a skittles competition, toys, the Chideock society, maps of Chideock, books and other stalls.
It will be hosted by the Chideock Parish Council with donations going to the community fund and all profits to The Friends of Clapps Mead.
Parking can be found at the nearby Chideock car park by the post office/shop.
