PRINCE Charles is said to talk to his plants.
I suppose most people would class me as an eccentric – not conversing with plants but to a pair of blackbirds who visit our garden most days hunting for worms.
They may not understand the English language but they don’t zoom off when they hear my voice as I chat away as I sit in my rocking chair on the veranda of our little summer house– even though they may be just a few feet from me.
Mostly in winter time I also have a chat with our favourite robin.
Again a very friendly little chap or lady who stays close for some time on each visit.
I wonder if any Dorset Echo reader finds other like-minded members of the avian species who listen to one when putting the world to rights and don’t answer back? Very satisfying and relaxing.
