The Muddy Stilettos Awards have come to an end, with businesses in the Bridport area winning five of them.
The Muddy Stiletto Awards 2022 aim to highlight the unique, creative, quirky and most exciting businesses across 28 counties. This year 75,000 businesses were nominated and 765,000 votes were cast nationally.
Businesses in Dorset won 12 of the 27 categories for the Dorset, Somerset and Bristol region with five being won in and around Bridport.
Bridport area winners include; Salon in the Square in Beaminster for best beauty salon, Outbuilding near Bridport for best boutique stay, Baboo Gelato near Bridport for best local producer, Bridport Electric Palace for best theatre/arts venue and Mapperton House near Beaminster for best wedding venue.
Customers are now invited to vote once more to decide who wins the coveted regional award. Each regional winner will also be considered for the first ever National Muddy Awards to find the ‘best of the best’ across all 28 'Muddy' counties.
