A MOTORIST has been slapped with points on his licence and must pay a court bill after driving without due care on the A35.
Michael Julian Taylor, aged 53, of High Street, Burton Bradstock was found guilty of being behind the wheel of a silver Peugeot without due care and attention on the Stinsford Roundabout near Dorchester on July 7 last year, Weymouth Magistrates Court heard.
Taylor originally pleaded not guilty to the offence on January 11. He was found guilty of the offence on June 27 this year.
Taylor was fined £60, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and must pay court costs of £60 - totalling £154.
His driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.
