BRIDPORT will open their new South West Peninsula League Premier East campaign away to Ivybridge on Saturday, August 6.

Edgar Marcu will lead the Bees into Step 6 football following relegation from the Western League Premier last season.

Bridport will play all of their away games in Devon, and follow up their clash at Ivybridge with a derby at home to Honiton on Tuesday, August 9.

From Saturday, November 12 a ban on midweek fixtures begins until the end of the World Cup in Qatar.

Bridport are scheduled to have a bye weekend on Saturday, November 26 due to the odd number of teams in the division.

Bridport host Brixham in their final game before Christmas on Saturday, December 17 and have no Boxing Day fixture, instead playing at rivals Axminster on Tuesday, December 27.

Bridport also have a New Year’s Eve contest at home to Sidmouth, due for an earlier kick-off of 2pm.

Their first league game of 2023 will be away to Bovey Tracey on Saturday, January 7.

And the Bees round off their 36-game league season at home to Axminster on Friday, April 7.
