A WOMAN is due to appear in court in connection with a fatal crash in Lyme Regis.
At 4.38pm on Tuesday, June 29 police was called to reports of a collision in Broad Street involving a Ford Fiesta and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian – a man aged in his 80s from Bristol – sustained serious injuries and sadly died in hospital on Sunday 4 July 2021.
Following a detailed investigation by the traffic unit, Jean Mary Marshall, aged, 74 from Birmingham has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, June 8 for an offence of causing death by careless driving.
