TWO more dead swans have tested positive for the deadly strain of H5N1 bird flu at Abbotsbury Swannery.
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) confirmed the total number of birds found to have the disease now stands at nine.
And Defra warned that it expects more cases to continue emerging over the coming weeks.
Experts say the disease probably came from an infected migratory bird.
Staff at the swannery have been monitored for the infection but the risk to them is said to be low.
