Tim Ellis and Eddie Ette of Portland have just past the halfway mark in their amazing challenge on behalf of Julia’s House Dorset charity to paddle the 400 miles between Land’s End and Margate for the Pensioners Paddle 400.
On Thursday May 12 they completed a leg of 41.9 miles in a record time of 9 hours and 5 mins at an average speed of 4.6 mph.
So far they have raised £1,120 of their target of £4,000.
Weather permits the next leg of their incredible journey is from Portland to Swanage.
Please give as much publicity as you can to this amazing achievement in order to raise as much money as possible for this very deserving and compassionate charity.
