THE Bridport Big Band will strike up to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
The band, under the direction of Matt Barge and with vocalists Julie Harris and Cameron Shaw, will be performing at the United Church Bridport on Saturday, May 28 at 7pm for 7.30pm.
The concert, arranged by the Rotary Club of Bridport, will celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth with a programme of music and songs which she will have heard and enjoyed from her childhood and during her 70-year reign. Profits will go to the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance and other Rotary vharities.
