A TEENAGER has sustained potentially life-threatening injuries following an incident between a bike and a Land Rover.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following the crash.

At around 7pm on Monday, May 9, a two-vehicle collision occurred on an unnamed road in Seaborough involving a green Stomp Mini Moto pit bike and a black Land Rover Freelander.

It is reported that the pit bike left the road and collided with a stone wall.

The rider, a teenage boy, sustained potentially life-changing injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment. His family were informed.

The Land Rover Freelander was not damaged in the incident and the female driver was uninjured.

Police Constable Chris Brolan, of the traffic unit, said: "I'm appealing to anyone who was in the area of Seaborough at or before the time of the incident and either witnessed what happened or saw either vehicle prior to the collision to please contact Dorset Police.

"I'm also keen to hear from any motorists or residents who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam or home CCTV."
