POLICE across Dorset are raising awareness of spotting the signs of revenge porn - and how to properly intervene.

The Enough Campaign advises the public on how to intervene if they know anyone who has done or considered committing revenge porn.

Police are now urging members of the public to raise the alarm and make sure they inform others that doing or considering such behaviour is not acceptable.

A spokesman from Dorset Police said: "Revenge porn is abuse.

"We can tell our friends that it is never okay to share intimate photos of women without their consent."

Police can be contacted via: 101, or for emergencies: 999.
