POLICE are reminding residents and visitors to Dorset to make sure they clear up after themselves when they're out enjoying the county.
The Easter holidays may be over but with summer approaching and more people getting out and about as well as an influx of visitors expected, Dorset Police say it is important that any rubbish is disposed of correctly in a bid to protect the environment for other people to enjoy.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "If you’re planning to visit the forests, beaches and moors that we have on our doorstep, take a moment to stop and think about how you protect the environment for others to enjoy.
“Dispose of your rubbish properly by using the bins provided or by taking it home if you find they’re full.”
