DORSET Police have warned that unwanted touching is abuse, as the force encourages people to report incidents.
The message comes as part of a national campaign by the Government to crack down on sexual assault.
Police in the county urge that incidents are reported to ensure it is not tolerated.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Touching someone without consent is abuse.
“We can show support and help report sexual assault when we see it. Find out how to get support or report safely at https://enough.campaign.gov.uk/”
The national campaign aims to tackle abuse in many forms by educating people on what counts as abuse and how it can be reported via the various different channels.
