A plant and gardening sale will be held at the Millennium Green in Bridport today, Saturday, April 23, from 9.30am to 1pm.
Items for sale include anything related to gardening – pots, books and jigsaws, as well as lots of indoor and outdoor plants. There will also be a stall for the Dorset Air Ambulance.
Those who have plants to donate are invited to bring them along.
The sale is being held by the Friends of Bridport Millennium Green to raise funds for the upkeep of the green and for implementing the next five-year plan, including planting and trees.
The green and gardens surround the council’s Mountfield building off Rax Lane and a 10-acre woodland and pasture on Coneygar Hill, and is held in trust for the enjoyment of local people. Membership is £5 annually.
