EMERGENCY services were called to a tourist hotspot in Dorset following reports of shouts for help.
Dorset Police and Lyme Regis Coastguard Team were called to East Cliff in Lyme Regis around 1.30am on Sunday (April 10).
A spokesman from Lyme Regis Coastguard Team said: "We were tasked to assist police to investigate reports of shouts for help.
"The calls were heard in the vicinity of East Cliff and the eastern sea wall area of Lyme Regis.
"We already had a number of officers out searching after speaking with the first informant.
"With their detailed knowledge of the local area, the coastguard team carried further searches of the area.
"With nobody reported missing, no one found nor further calls heard, the team was stood down pending further information."
For emergencies on the sea, cliff, river, mud, harbour and beach call 999 and ask for the coastguard.
