POLICE are reminding people that any abuse in the workplace should be reported via the appropriate channels.
The message comes as part of a campaign on workplace harassment by the Government.
The force in Dorset says the same message applies at a school or in an education setting whereby abuse should be reported to staff.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “If somebody has subjected you to abuse at work, whether in person or online, you can report it to someone such as your line manager, a colleague, or the HR department.
“If at school or in an education setting speak to your teacher or a member of staff.”
If you need to report something to the police you can do this via their ‘do it online’ website - www.dorset.police.uk/do-it-online
