Loders Village Hall
Members of the public are being invited to a local history research event tomorrow exploring west Dorset communities.
The Somerset and Dorset Family History Society West Dorset Group is hosting an event at Loders Village Hall.
The event will see participants delve into the history of west Dorset areas including Powerstock, Mapperton and Loders, courtesy of Dr Tim Connor.
Participants interested in the event are asked to come to the village hall, in New Street Lane, at 2pm on Saturday, April 9.
To attend it will cost members of the society £1, while it will cost £3 for all other visitors. Cost includes tea and biscuits.
