TWO crews raced to a fire involving a derelict building.
Crews from Lyme Regis and Charmouth were called this afternoon (April 1) to Spittles Lane, off Charmouth Road, following reports of an outbuilding fire.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Rescue Service (DWFRS) said the fire was located near Lyme Regis Football Club, along Charmouth Road.
A spokeswoman from DWFRS said: "At 3.25pm, two crews from Lyme Regis and Charmouth responded to a report of an outbuilding fire in Spittles Lane, off Charmouth Road, in Lyme Regis.
"The fire was located in a derelict building and extinguished using a hose reel."
During the spring and summer, DWFRS said to contact fire control on 0306 799 0019 if there are plans for a controlled fire.
