PEOPLE were able to find out more about a retirement living complex being built in Bridport.

McCarthy Stone welcomed retirees to a sales launch event for its Gordon Court development in Flood Lane.

Held at Bridport Arts Centre on South Street, members of the public joined the team to find out more about the upcoming development, which is currently selling off-plan. In addition to being able to look at plans and apartment specifications, typical interior finishes, and fittings, attendees were also able to discover more about the range of purchasing opportunities which will be available.

The event proved popular with more than 100 people attending.

Once complete, the Bridport development will comprise of 38 one and two-bedroom apartments, with the first occupants expected in July 2022.

For those who want to purchase outright, prices currently start from £250,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and from £375,000 for a two-bedroom. Rental and part-buy part-rent options are also available.
