BRIDPORT Reserves picked up four points in two games in their latest round of Jewson Dorset Premier League fixtures.

Chris Herbst’s men defeated Sherborne Town Reserves 4-2 at home on Saturday but had to come from behind to claim all three points.

Jack Cutmore put the Zebras ahead and the Bees were lucky not to concede a second before half-time.

However, Herbst rallied his troops and the Bees were rampant, netting four times in 15 minutes.

Harry Boulton, getting game time away from the first team, got the equaliser and then Ryan Gall thumped home when a cross landed perfectly for him.

Sherborne came forward in search of an equaliser but were punished on the break for 3-1 when Robin Jones darted inside and lashed home into the bottom corner with his left foot.

Gall added a fourth when Sherborne failed to track his run and the centre-back duly slammed a volley in for his brace.

Sherborne gave themselves late hope with an Elliott Mann goal but the Bees shut up shop to preserve their two-goal cushion and take all three points.

Bridport then drew 1-1 with Sturminster Newton on Tuesday evening, Josh Hunter cancelling out George Coleman’s opener for the Cherries.
