THE TOP reasons for neighbourly disputes for people living in the south west have been revealed.

Figures from online housing firm We Buy Any Home found that the top five reasons for neighbourly disputes in the south west include being too noisy at anti-social hours; property boundary dispute; parking dispute; impolite behaviour; argument over pets.

The online housing firm revealed other reasons for neighbours getting into arguments include mislaid wheelie bins to stolen parking spots to extreme behaviour.

We Buy Any Home found that nearly a quarter of people who have sold their home said that having bad neighbours contributed to their reasons for selling their home.

In a survey of 2,000 UK adults who have sold a home, 60 per cent said they had had a dispute with a neighbour, and that the dispute left them feeling negatively about them.

The top reason for disputes across the UK were from one unanimous reason - being too noisy at anti-social hours.
