POLICE are warning people across Dorset about the dangers of consent for sex when alcohol or drugs are involved.
Dorset Police have said there is no consent if an agreement has been forced or coerced, or if a person is impaired through drink, drugs or is not conscious, and it has therefore not been given freely.
A spokeswoman from Dorset Police said: "Just because consent has been given once before, doesn’t mean you can assume it’s been given now.
"Sex without consent is rape. No ifs, no buts, no excuses."
