Broomfield Road in Chelmsford
A WOMAN from west Dorset has been fined for speeding in a 30mph zone in Essex.
Sarah Bullen, 45, and whose address was given as Orchard Avenue in Bridport, was charged with exceeding a 30mph speed restriction.
The defendant’s case was heard at Chelmsford Magistrates Court and proved against her using the single justice procedure on Friday, February 4.
It related to an incident on the B1008 Broomfield Road, near Chelmsford, when Bullen was clocked travelling at 41mph in 30mph zone.
As a result, the court fined her £146, ordered her to pay a £34 surcharge and costs of £90.
Bullen’s driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.
