Bridport Mayor Ian Bark is inviting local residents to a special concert being staged this spring.
The Mayor’s Charity Concert this year is called Bride Valley and Beyond – described as ‘an evening of music, songs and readings in celebration of the landscape, history and life in the west Dorset coastal area’.
Funds raised at the concert will support Cllr Bark’s chosen charities. These are The Burrough Harmony Centre (which provides mental health support) and The Living Tree (which offers cancer support).
The concert will be staged at Bridport Arts Centre on Saturday, March 5, running from 7.30pm to 10pm. Doors will open at 6.30pm, say organisers.
