NEW classes are being introduced by Bridport Youth Dance – and one is for adults keen to learn some killer disco moves.

Rhythm Makers starts today (Friday, February 4) 4pm to 4.30pm for children aged five to eight years. They will learn the basic rudiments of tap dancing in a fun, caring environment with an emphasis on musicality. Tap dance can help with balance, co-ordination and core control. It is also a lot of fun.

Strictly DISCO is a new class for adults at Steps studio, Crepe Farm Business Park on Fridays, starting on February 11, 10am to 11am.

These classes will be a fusion of disco with a hint of Latin dance. Strictly DISCO will help develop stamina and fitness. Limited places are available.

Nikki Northover of BYD said: “It has been a challenging two years for many and dance can be a wonderful tool for release and happiness. Alongside our normal dance education programme, we are starting these two new dance classes.”

You can email Nikki at bridportyouthdance01@gmail.com or call 07765 971357 to enrol and book your place. All levels are welcome.
