MORE than a quarter of people in the south west have admitted a romantic encounter with a colleague, figures reveal.
New research from legal experts at Wright Hassall revealed that 25.2 per cent of people in the region have admitted to having a romantic encounter with a work colleague, which is the fifth highest in the country.
The survey revealed one in four (24.4 per cent) people across the UK admitted to having a romantic encounter at work, with 27.6 per cent of the total figure being male and 21.5 per cent being female.
It was revealed 29.1 per cent of those admitting to having an encounter at work were between the ages of 45-54, which was more than any other age group.
West Midlands had the highest number of people revealing they have had a romantic encounter at work (34.6 per cent), with 14.8 per cent of respondents admitting to having a romantic encounter at a work party or event.
