Set within 70 acres of countryside and just a few miles from Bolton, this farm has something for everyone.

There are more than 25 animals at the farm including cows, pigs, goats sheep, rabbits and llamas. 

Tickets can be purchased online from £7.50 for children two years and older and £8.50 for adults. 

2. Jumbles Country Park

Jumbles Country Park is a lovely walking route around the reservoir and has a cafe for refreshments. 

The woodland is home to birds such as the jay, sparrowhawk, grey heron and kestrel. 

It has won the Travellers' Choice award in 2021.

The Bolton Steam Museum is a world-class visitor attraction displaying the largest collection of working mill engines in Europe.

There is no admission charge but a donation is recommended to keep the volunteer-led museum running.

Bolton Museum and Art Gallery has an Ancient Egypt Gallery with fascinating artifacts and lots of information about Bolton's rich heritage. 

The attraction is free to visit and also includes Greater Manchester's only aquarium.
