A VIDEO captured by a drone shows the extent of the damage caused to a cliff on the Jurassic Coast following a rockfall.
The footage was captured by local photographer Neil Barnes.
It comes after a large cliff fall between Freshwater and Hive Beach, Burton Bradstock.
It is not yet known when the rockfall occurred and anyone thinking of going to the beach today is being urged to stay away from the edge and base of the cliff as it is feared more rocks could fall.
A spokesman for Dorset Council said: "Our rangers have investigated the site of the rockfall. The Coastpath is not affected. The rock fall covers the whole beach so there is no access between hive beach and freshwater.
"There is signage in place and our advice is to stay away from cliff edges and beaches. Erosion can happen at any time. It is a natural process and gives us the amazing Jurassic coast."
The same beach has seen a number of rockfalls in recent years, with the last cliff fall in November.
