A FREE helpline has been set up to keep people in Dorset company when they walk home alone.
Strut Safe is a free-of-charge helpline launched in Edinburgh last year and funded by donations.
The helpline was founded in the wake of Sarah Everard’s death, and was introduced with the main aim of protecting women, ethnic minorities and the LGBTQ community on their journeys home with its free phone line and trained volunteers.
Strut Safe's free helpline accepts calls from anywhere in the UK and operates from 7pm-3am on Fridays and Saturdays, and 7pm-1am on Sundays.
