SEVENTY per cent of people aged over 18 in the BCP Council area have had a Covid booster, according to the latest data.
Figures show a total of 224,420 adults across the conurbation had received their booster jab or third Covid vaccine dose as of January 9.
Meanwhile, 81.7 per cent of adults in the Dorset Council area - 254,998 people – had received their vaccine.
The figures have been compiled using NHS England data for vaccinations and population figures from the Office for National Statistics, which are the best publicly available official estimates.
Stratford-on-Avon has the highest uptake by local authority with 84.7 per cent of adults receiving their booster, which equates to 91,119 people.
Elsewhere, Newham has the lowest number of adults taking up the offer to receive their booster at just 41.3 per cent, which is 110,956 people.
According to NHS England data, nationally more than four million people aged 18 and over are estimated to have not received had a first dose, while around six million are not double-jabbed and 17 million have not had a booster or third dose.
