Since relocating my business from Bournemouth to Bridport I have now placed my house on the market in Poole and moved permanently to Bridport. I have taken this step late in life because I have been so impressed with this lovely town and its residents who are so proud of Bridport. My perception is that Bridport is the south coast’s centre for arts, food and music and this is why so many visitors return month after month.

My past life encompassed a military career which I ended as a warrant officer having cooked for most members of the royal family. On Remembrance Sunday I too added pride in Bridport to the long list of reasons that compelled me to move to this amazing town. The turnout and effort that had been put into the organisation and spectacle of the Remembrance Day parade was breathtaking and emotional for me and I am sure all who witnessed the day.

I would like to thank the people of Bridport for their warmth and welcome and for allowing me to share in their continued enjoyment of this exceptional part of Dorset.
