Two sheep were attacked by a dog in west Dorset.
The attack happened on Wednesday afternoon near Hive Beach, Burton Bradstock. Police have previously said it is a criminal offence to sheep worry under the Protection of Livestock Act 1953.
Sheep worrying is when a dog worries livestock on any agricultural land, which leads to the dog chasing, attacking or injuring livestock.
A spokesman from Dorset Police said: "We received a report at around 1.15pm on Wednesday, November 24 that a dog had attacked two sheep in a field near to the Hive Beach Car Park in Burton Bradstock.
"Officers attended the incident. The two sheep are not believed to have sustained any initial serious injuries.
"The owner of the dog was located and spoken to by officers.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the report. No arrests have been made."
