A MAN has been accused of multiple allegations including making indecent images of children and having or allowing sexual intercourse with a dog.

At Weymouth Magistrates Court, Peter Frank Edwards, aged 35, of School Hill, South Perrott, offered no plea after being accused of three charges of making indecent photographs and pseudo-photographs of a child, and three charges of possessing extreme pornographic images portraying an act of intercourse with a live animal.

He also offered no plea to two charges of allowing or causing sexual penetration of a person with a living dog, and one charge of intentionally encouraging intercourse with an animal. The offences are alleged to have happened between January 1, 2018 to May 22, 2020.

It is alleged that Edwards was found in possession of four category A indecent images of children, four category B indecent images of children and one category B indecent video of children, and nine category C indecent images of children.

Edwards is alleged to have been found in possession of eight category A images and one video of extreme pornography portraying an act of intercourse with a dog, namely a black Labrador.

He is also alleged to have had sexual intercourse or allowed sexual intercourse with the dog on at least two occasions under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

Edwards will next appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on December 23.

Until his next court appearance, he will remain on conditional bail with conditions that he is not allowed to own a dog or be around a dog unsupervised.
