PEOPLE from Dorset aiming to save money and better manage their finances are being sought for the new series for a TV programme.

Channel 4 TV show Secret Spenders, which is hosted by Anita Rani, a series that gives money makeovers to people across the UK who don’t know where their money is going each month, saving them thousands of pounds a year.

Ahead of the second series, producers are looking for people in Dorset whose partners or family members are bad with money and whose monthly wages seem to disappear without a trace.

Any local families who find their monthly wage seems to disappear without trace can apply to take part in the show and those picked by the Channel 4 to feature in the series will be given access to financial experts during the programme.

The experts will monitor their spending habits and then reveal where their cash really is going and, with help to curb their excesses, the families could potentially save thousands of pounds a year just by making small changes.

The last series helped save families up to £15,000 a year and producers aim to save people even more money.
