AN EXHIBITION of expressive skyscapes is currently going ahead at a local gallery.
'The Sky is the Limit', an exhibition by Lyme Regis artist Christine Allison, is on display at Sou'-Sou'-West Gallery at the Symondsbury Estate.
The work explores one of Christine's favourite themes, the sky, with a variety of works full of vibrant colour and texture and other darker and moody pieces.
She said: "My studio and home overlook the sea, I swim into the rising sun each morning, the sky dominates my days.
"Quietly it has crept back under my skin and into my work. Lockdowns have kept me at home - but the sky has been there for me every day, like a faithful friend - waiting for me to realise it was still my subject.”
The exhibition is continuing until Sunday, November 7.
