TWO blues legends have teamed up to delight an audience with a night of music.

Guitarist Dave Kelly and pianist Bob Hall have joined forces and will perform an intimate concert at the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis on October 15.

Together, the pair, who were neighbours in the 1960s, have performed on more than 100 albums, with artists including Chuck Berry, John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters.

A spokesman for the theatre said: "Dave Kelly, singer, guitarist and songwriter, is a founder member of The Blues Band, which has released around 20 albums, and Dave has fifteen more either solo or with his own Dave Kelly Band.

"Bob Hall, singer, pianist and songwriter, is a founder member of The Groundhogs and Savoy Brown. Bob have played on well over 100 albums, including four solo piano albums and dozens more as band leader or co-leader."
