A Bridport charity supporting people in west Dorset struggling with their mental health is convening again and looking to strengthen its board of trustees.
On Tuesday, November 9 at 2.30pm the trustees, staff, volunteers, carers, members and their families and all friends of the Burrough Harmony Centre are invited to attend the AGM at the Assembly Rooms, Gundry Lane. Recently the centre had to step up to the challenges when Covid-19 prevented face-to-face meetings.
The AGM is a time for everyone interested in the centre to meet and exchange views, plans and hopes for its future. The business agenda will be kept brief, so that people can contribute their questions and comments, influencing plans for the centre's future development. Refreshments will be provided by members and staff.
Jan Brennan, Chairman of Trustees, said: "We have a lot to talk about as we develop the services we offer. I hope lots of interested people will be able to join us - it will be good to see people again in our premises."
