FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire that started in the kitchen of a property in Lyme Regis.
Crews from Lyme Regis and Axminster were mobilised to a fire at a domestic property in Summerhill Road yesterday at around 9.34am.
"The first attending appliance arrived on scene within three minutes of being mobilised to the incident," a spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service said.
"it was confirmed to be a small fire involving burnt food within a cooker located in the kitchen.
"Crews removed excess burnt food from the oven using small tools."
