MUSIC-lovers are invited to attend a classical concert by a string trio.
St Mary's Church in Beaminster will host classical string trio the Veles Ensemble, a group founded in 2016 by three classical musicians, who have performed in the prestigious London Chamber Orchestra.
The group will perform renditions of work by classical musicians, including Boccherini, Beethoven, Kodaly and Dochnanyi. The concert will take place at 3pm on October 9.
Brian Ridley, treasure for the Friends of Beaminster Festival, said: "We are delighted to be able to promote once again concerts in St Mary's Church Beaminster.
"The Veles Ensemble is a classical string trio based in London exploring rarely heard masterpieces. They were founded in 2016 by three young successful classical musicians."
Tickets to the concert cost £12 and are available online at www.beaminsterfestival.com or can be picked up from The Yarn Barton Centre. They are also available to be purchased on the door.
